Worked perfectly outta the box

I have gotten up every day since I started with GetUp 3 weeks ago. My mornings are a lot less rushed and I'm feeling more tired in my evenings because I'm making more use of my day. The app and product have so much potential to grow and I can't wait.

Great device! Has forced me to get up in the morning unless I want to hear the song I’ve selected on repeat! You can add your own mp3 files as your alarm which is great! The only minor issue is that the same 20 seconds of the files plays, but it’s not a major issue! Overall would definitely recommend!

It really is a brilliant invention, and I hope more people are lucky enough to discover it. The concept is genuinely game-changing. Great team who listen to feedback and are constantly updating the app to make it even more intuitive and effected for a snooze free wake up. If you haven been considering investing in this don’t think, just do it! Absolutely life changing.

Why not just put my phone across the room?

Phone on the dresser still has an off button two feet from itself. GetUp separates the alarm from the off button — the phone rings wherever you keep it, and the off switch lives across the room, inside your checkpoint.

Does it work for heavy sleepers?

It's built for them. GetUp plays through silent mode and Do Not Disturb, full volume, until you scan the brick. There's nothing to outlast.

Will it wake my roommates?

Keep the phone next to your head on low volume — loud enough to wake you, quiet enough not to wake the house. The brick takes the alarm off, not the volume.

Do I need a specific phone?

Works on iOS and Android with NFC. iPhone 11+ on iOS 26+, or any NFC Android on 8.0+.
